Diario de Mallorca organises BitMeet, a professional conference where the digital transformation on the Balearic Islands will be discussed.

The event will address the need to focus on innovation as a preferential path in order to break the monoculture of tourism. The health crisis has highlighted the importance of technology for both our personal and professional lives.

The experts consulted from the ICT sector will explain their vision of the situation and the keys for development of this sector on the Balearic Islands. There will be a transversal analysis of the situation and the changes anticipated in the short, medium and long term.

The event will begin with a speech by Eduardo Zuñiga, General Director of Innovation in the Balearic Government. Then there will be various presentations and finally a round table with the participation of Miguel Fernández (Innovation Strategies), Alberto Loureiro (Altia), and Xavier Bonany (MicroStrategy). The act will be presented and moderated by Gabriel Sampol. Hors d’oeuvres will be served to close out the day.
