Altia, a company that offers consulting services, development and maintenance of advanced technology solutions and services, it arrives in Vizcaya with the opening of its new office in the Ibaiondo Business Park (Leioa), 10 km from Bilbao. With these new headquarters there are ten offices that the company has in cities such as Vitoria, A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Vigo, Valladolid, Madrid, Alicante, Toledo and Santiago de Chile, to which must be added the Technological Development Center (A Coruña) and three Data Centers (Vigo, Madrid and Barcelona).

From its new location, Altia will serve both the Basque Country and the neighboring communities of La Rioja, Cantabria and Navarra, thus reinforcing the work that the office of Miñano, near the city of Vitoria, has been doing for over 13 years. The company will offer services to companies in the area through its seven main lines of business: outsourcing and maintenance, managed services provided through the activity of its Data Centers, supply of hardware and software infrastructures, development of computer applications, technology consulting and own solutions and implementation of third-party computing solutions.

The company lands in Vizcaya as an important commitment towards their growth and with the aim of serving their main clients with those already working in the area, including BTI, Lanbide, EJIE, Semark, Port Authority or Euskaltel. Thus, the activity will focus on projects with both public administrations and the private sector, mainly in the areas of services, distribution, banking, education, insurance or industry. “The new opening is part of our growth strategy in which service vocation and commitment to our customers are a priority. Now, we will be able to accompany our clients in the Basque Country in an even closer way,” said Tino Fernández, President of Altia.

For his part, Jon Malax-Echevarria, director of the office of Altia in Vizcaya, said: "We have taken a fundamental step to strengthen the business in the area and help companies in any sector to address the challenges of the digital era ".
