Santiago Salvador Rodríguez, Vigo office.

1. Why did you choose Altia to do your internship?
During the third year of my degree, I went to the Technological Forum organized by the university, I got to know the company and from the beginning they were interested in me, and one of the things that caught my attention was working for a consulting firm.

2. How were your first days?
The truth is that I was quite afraid of not being up to the task or not being able to do the job, I had no previous experience, but the reception was very good. My colleagues always lent me a hand, as did the managers of both the office and the project, and I could count on the team to answer any questions I might have.

3. How was your experience with the AltiaDigitalHub program?
Very happy, from the beginning I started on real projects and this was something I appreciated and I had to adapt little by little because we used technologies that I had not used before, but to this day I am still learning. I also have the opportunity to do my final degree project with the company and this allows me to use technologies that I enjoy on a personal level in the field of telecommunications, I have the opportunity to learn about them and use them in the future. The tutoring went very well, they were always available for any questions.

4. Did you imagine it like this?
I wasn't sure what a professional environment was going to be like, but it was a very good experience, I didn't think I would adapt so quickly.

5. What do you think you've evolved into?
Teamwork, the college experience is not the same as in real projects, working is better and easier, to learn new tools and technologies and each time learn faster and faster. Here you notice that the fruit of your work is rewarded, at university your given the basics.

6. If you had to define your experience in 3 words, what would they be?
Learning, motivation and companionship.
