The project, which will last two years with the option of extension to two others, has been awarded for 1,089,256  (VAT INCLUDED) and will provide Specialized Functional Consulting services for the realization of process definition work and functional specifications on Information Systems in the Management Centers of the Ministry  of Health of the Community of Madrid. Currently, the Agency needs an overview of the state of the art of the Ministry of Health's processes and systems to provide a map of current coverage and future needs.

In order to close the cycle from the definition of processes to the productive use thereof, the plan also covers the work of defining modular and integrated technological solutions for the construction and implementation of  non-healthcare and non-corporate health systems that are concreted in the consulting phase. The information obtained in the consulting phase will be enriched with technological aspects and good practices of other Consultancies and entities of similar competences through the information provided by an observatory created for this purpose.

Improving efficiency and increasing the quality of service are the two main objectives pursued by Madrid Digital with this project. Altia  will be responsible for updating and proposing systems that provide the Administration with the necessary tools for the development of its competencies and to adjust the supply and demand of services in a manner aligned with its expectations and priorities.
In addition, through the construction of an architecture oriented to reusable and parameterizable modular systems and services, the Agency will seek to respond to common needs.
