Altia and the University of Santiago de Compostela sign an agreement to boost talent in the technology sector.

Altia has just announced an agreement with the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).

The objective of this agreement is the implementation of a set of actions and initiatives aimed at the development and promotion of the technology sector through the training of future professionals in this sector.

Among the actions that will start, stands out the annual award for the best Final Project of the degree (TFG) awarded by Altia together with the Higher Technical School of Engineering. The Final Project of the degree is awarded with 1,500 euros, that will be selected from those presented in each academic year. The USC, through the Higher Technical School of Engineering, will conduct the annual call for the awards in accordance with Altia.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Altia through this agreement that pursues the empowerment of the technology sector and foster the talent of students in the field of information technology, primarily focused in the qualification of Degree in Computer Engineering of our University”, said Antonio López Díaz, dean of the USC.

 

For his part, Tino Fernandez emphasized during the signing of the agreement: "This agreement is part of our commitment to enhance the talent of our youth, as well as to be an active part in the modernization and digitization of our productive ecosystem through the hand of an exceptional ally, as is the USC. "
